Residency Week

Residency Week is held on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station and is the official kick-off for the Professional MBA program at Mays Business School. This week helps support your transition back into the academic environment while allowing you to experience the renowned “Aggie Spirit” firsthand.

During Residency Week, you will complete academic leveling courses that serve as the foundation for the program’s curriculum – accounting, economics and data analysis. Residency Week also includes professional competency sessions on business communication, team building and self-assessment. These sessions introduce the skills sets that are enhanced and developed throughout the remainder of the program.

Residency Week also provides the opportunity to network with previous graduates, faculty and classmates. Social events held throughout the week allow for participants to informally interact with each other and the faculty – beginning the camaraderie that continues into the classroom. Participants also experience life in Aggieland and learn about Aggie traditions.
