Curriculum
The fully accredited, 45-credit hour Professional MBA program is composed of 39-credit hours in the major disciplines of business, as well as special topics such as leadership and communication, and 6-credit hours of electives.
Delivered in a structure designed for working professionals, our instructional format is unlike typical lecture-driven classrooms. Our professors engage participants in a three-way dialogue – challenging students to learn from themselves, their peers and their professors. By bringing their experiences to the table in a meaningful way, our participants learn innovative approaches to problems from their peers and their professors.

Electives
As a student in Texas A&M’s Professional MBA program, you will take two electives from a selection of offerings, allowing you to customize your education to fit your career goals.
Potential elective offerings may include:
- Energy Markets/Energy Finance
- Digital Marketing
- Services Marketing
- Entrepreneurship
Electives will be offered both in the summer after your first year and in the spring of your second year, allowing you to choose courses based on your interests.
